Ayurveda is one of the oldest natural healing and preventative health sciences in the world. It is based on bio-individuality and on a unique constitutional model established on the five elements – Earth, Fire, Air, Water, and Space.
Ayurveda believes that optimum health is when the mind-body-soul is aligned, the gut is healthy, when the seven main tissues, and three excretory methods are working without any issues. The digestive system is the core of the body and maintains the overall health in the physical body.
The digestive energy or Agni is the most important and determines the immunity levels of the body. If there is an imbalance in the Agni (digestive fire), then the body will suffer from “vikruti”.
Chakras are the energy cycles in the body that have physical, emotional, and psychological impact. It is essential that the chakras are balanced and in harmony for the body to remain in continuous “health”.
The most significant advice in Ayurveda is to be alignment with the flow of nature and be in tune with the Universe for the alignment of mind-body-soul.
