Home Remedies with Honey

  • Mix 2 teaspoons with Carrot juice and consume regularly. This helps to improve eyesight.

  • Mix 2 teaspoons with 2 teaspoons of Ginger juice and consumed frequently will help with a congested chest and colds.

  • Mix equal quantities of Honey, Black pepper, and Ginger juice. Consume three times a day to relieve the symptoms of Asthma.

  • One glass of warm water taken with 2 teaspoons of Honey and 1 teaspoon of Lemon juice in the early morning reduces fat and purifies the blood.

  • Consuming 1 teaspoon of Honey on a daily basis help us to lead a healthy and long life.

Precautions before using Honey

  • Honey should not be mixed with hot foods.

  • Do not heat honey

  • Do not consume honey when you are exposed to a lot of heat

  • It is not advised to mix honey with fermented beverages (e.g. alcohol)

  • Honey mixed with hot and spicy foods is not advised as it causes an imbalance of the Doshas.
